Lovely little hotel with a small bar/restaurant attached. Staff were helpful, happy and polite. The rooms were lovely and clean and the bridal suite was really pretty with a 4 poster bed and pretty lights.

Only used bar and not hotel. Staff were very polite and cheerful. No loud tv screen which earnt the last of the 5 stars. Spent a relaxing evening there.

Only had Sunday lunch here. Good food and enough to fill you up. Good beer too.

Excellent little pub. The food is good old fashioned pub food and it tastes great. The prices are low and the food and service is superb. Friendly bar staff and the pub has an inviting atmosphere. Would highly recommend. My only gripe is that it isn't open on a Sunday! Or at least it wasn't open at 6pm. offers competitive rates for any type of hotel, from small independent hotels to a five star luxury ones. Took my mum for a coffee in the garden last week and we had latte. It was expensive but it was really nice and they have a fantastic outside seating are in sun or in shade with loads of cushions scattered around so you can make yourself comfortable. Really enjoyable visit.

Great all round. Fantastic menu, attentive staff and a good place to kick back. Try something off the Josper Grill just because you can.

Travel Super Market search and compare prices for hotels all over the world. Could also be useful for you. I This said I was told by a hotelier that the way to get cheap rooms is to ring up the week before and ask for the weekend rate. You can usually get an absolute bargain as they will trying to book all the rooms that they have not sold! Could be worth a try!

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

Campsites and Caravan Parks

Henlow Lakes & Riverside Ltd

Bridge End Road, Henlow SG16 6DD, UK – 01462 812645

Great place. Little bit of heaven not far from anywhere. Great, friendly people who make the time to explain and help you have the best time you can. Great stocked shop for camping essentials and the fishing lakes are brilliant and well patrolled.

The site is in great and in good order but (too) close to the motorway in my opinion. Staff ist really friendly and helpful and they really care about the visitors and that everything looks welcoming. Very children friendly. It could even be a 5 star place, but as mentioned before, nothing for people who likes it quite.
